Hi, I'm Rotem Avitan. I'm a jewelry designer currntly living and working In Tel Aviv, Israel.
I'm a graduate of the jewelry design department at shenkar college of design and engineering class of 2015. Since I remember myself i have always enjoyed arts and crafts of all sorts. from potery to wood working , varies drawing technics, collages and many more ways which help you create with your hands.
My goal is to create jewelry that relates with the body's structure and apears diffrantlly when is worn. I enjoy putting focus on mechanisms which enable movement, connections and locks as part of my designs.
A designer, I belive, has the freedom to give her/his own interpertation to life, a vision of his own wich reflects our time and cultur. I have always been observing the world around me, from nature and its endless beauty to the urban enviorment which is always devoloping and chainging. I belive that Beauty is everywhere, and I can't help but to look for it and love to find it.
